Gifts that Lift provides immediate relief, long-term education assistance and a marketplace to sale the handy work of mothers in Southeast Asia who have been abused and abandoned enabling them to be self-sufficient, create self-worth and be an example for good to their children and community.
The Story
Gifts that Lift originated from the for-profit entity My Princess Pearls. In the Philippines, My Princess Pearls found an excellent supplier of products with incredible workmanship. Unbeknownst to us, the artisans – single abused mothers living in shantytowns – had little hope of improving their impoverished conditions. After learning of the terrible plight of these women we quickly transformed into a charitable organization. We now have a marketplace for these women to sale their crafts and we also collect and send cloths, food and educational supplies to their communities. Working in conjunction with other non-profit organizations we help these women to build self-reliance, help them earn an adequate income and train them how to wisely manage the money they now earn.
100% of all proceeds from every donation and purchase goes directly to those in need. |
